Maybe head size matters? Fits great for me.
I grind my teeth in my sleep and often use boil and bite splints. These are a little softer than the ones I've used. I left the first one in hot water for too long and it turned into a ball. The advantage with them is the tab. You don't have to fish the guard out with a fork or anything. Anyway, I submerged each in near-boiling water for about 7 seconds.
