There aren't many products that offer these features, so I'm glad I found this one. I was expecting it to be steel but it's plastic although seems quite durable. I like the "flat" power cord as it can be placed a bit closer to the floor/wall/whatever. It also comes out of the extension at a 90-degree angle, so it works well in tight spaces. Now my beef. 3 connectors are mounted vertically on the bar, the last one just above the USB connectors. Assuming you have an outlet/power adapter. You can use the top or middle plug and in either case the bottom plug will be blocked. If you plug it into the bottom connector, you've just blocked your USB ports. Some wall warts are oriented horizontally and/or you may insert the wall wart into the top plug upside down. But in most cases it will not work. So if you must use a wall adapter, you've either lost one of your plugs or your USB ports have been covered. Or a sad one. And the ONLY thing that had to be done to solve this whole mess was to place the USB ports on top of the plugs. I do not know. I will probably return it. Too bad.
