First of all, I've been a Soldering Iron and Station Professional (PACE) for 50 years. A: This device is good and excellent for the price. A soldering pin is also often more expensive elsewhere. Works very well. Looks like Weller. ------------------ CONS: Vinyl cords are a bit stiff. The footpads can be easily repositioned for stability. dull sound and feeling of lightness. Not hard hard. The sponge cleaning tray has no metal insert to repel solder spatter. Still 5 stars, especially if you are looking for a device at a good price.
