Review on EBC Brakes DP4781 2R Yellowstuff by Jeff Hall

I fitted these pads to my 2005 Element and was impressed with the increased braking performance but was disappointed that they only lasted 15,000 miles. This is the first time the rear pads have not lasted at least as long as the front pads and it has happened on every car I have owned. The rotors were new, so that wasn't a problem. The other rear pads I have used on this car (Akebono, Bendix and stock Honda pads) have lasted at least 50,000 miles. I knew in advance that these pads would get very dusty, so I didn't downgrade their rating for that. If you're only interested in maximum braking performance and don't mind frequent pad changes, after 100 miles your wheels will turn black with brake dust. , and after paying the premium price, buy these pads. I recommend everyone else to pass.
