Feels more like a hard sheet of plastic but the very elaborate packaging says it's tempered glass in many places. Not sure as it looks like plastic and bends just as easily as a plastic card. I do like the product on the SYNC 3 screen though, it applies fairly easily and most of the air bubbles are pushed out from the bottom. There are two bubbles that won't go away no matter how many times I press the panel firmly against the screen. One is in the top corner and the other is about 1 inch inward at the top edge. No bubbles to squeeze out from underneath, just a couple of spots where the screen itself or the (plastic) panel aren't perfectly flat to fit together. The OEM screen actually *probably* looks better due to the gloss of the plastic film. The OEM screen has a matte finish so this glossy screen protector makes it look glossy instead and I like the look with it more than the OEM look. All in all worth $8 sent to me and it's a custodian.
