Almost Good: Headphones

First off let me say that I'd love them, I'm a big fan of some of the other MEElectronics products. This product is almost ready, great sounds, they isolate from external noise. very good, easy to connect, reasonably good (5 hours) battery life, super light and good price. I have a nice fit that blocks outside noise very well, almost as good as my MEElectronics M6 with triple panels. I just snap them together and attach small earwires that I feel are too flimsy to help the fit. Put them in my ears and they sound amazing, especially for such a small package. Now about the extra cable. I followed the instructions and used the supplied clamps to get it behind the head. I've adjusted them a few times and it came out exactly like the picture, only shy because it was too tight and pulled them out of my ears. Great, good, great until I turn my head. No matter how many times I adjusted it, I couldn't get her to stay white and turned my head in frustration. The rubber band stuck to my neck so they pulled out. I wore them for a few days, tried different configurations and unfortunately never found the right way to use them. I could let the strap hang under my chin and that was fine, but I didn't like the look of the chin strap. Another problem arises with telephone calls. The microphone is badly placed. The mic hole is either halfway behind my head when the strap is like this, or touching my face when the strap is down. None of these provided a decent experience for the caller on the other end of the phone. I would like to use them when I plan to sit perfectly still, but it's not what I expected. So if you want to block out the noise and listen to music, this might be for you. If I sit still I can use a wired receiver to make my M6s work just as well, no point spending extra money on wireless connections. Another thing to mention, the range isn't very good, 10ft at best. , but it seems to snap even with my phone in my back pocket. My suggestion to the manufacturer would be to either let the strap hang lower and allow enough slack to turn your head without being too tight, or find another way to better secure it to your ear. Hook, wire through the ear or something else innovative. Conclusion: Unfortunately they didn't fill a niche for me and I can't recommend them.
