The Chaoren hip belt with ratchet is not made of leather.
I bought a replacement band after the original band broke after 2 years of use. According to the description it is leather. It is not. The design of the belt consists of a thin plastic film with a printed pattern, which is laminated to foam rubber on the front and back. If it lasts 2 years like the original belt it's still good value for money. However, it shouldn't claim to be leather if it isn't.

- The leather used may be of poor quality, resulting in a shorter lifespan compared to other leather straps.
