Ideal office or student size. Cheap, clear, instant setup, great company. Excellent price. Extremely fast delivery.

Good price $179. I bought this because it had a display port and that's all I have left on my graphics card. I have a triple configuration. This is a medium monitor and I have two 24 inch monitors on each side. It's bright, clear (almost too bright, but my other monitors look faded now). My eyes aren't the same as they used to be, and that helps - quite a bit. Instant setup, my EVGA 1050 TI graphics card seems to be able to determine which monitor is on and which one to use. I'm playing Diablo 3 and it's great. I'm in college and I prefer to keep 2-4 Microsoft Word docs on hand. It runs much, much cooler than either of my two 24-inch models, so I have to assume it will draw less power than the smaller ones. I thought about buying the 30" but I'm glad I bought the 27". It's about 24% larger than the 24-inch display. It's 311 square inches versus 252 square inches on a 24-inch monitor - it's big enough that I think 30 would be too big. My only complaint is the monitor. rises 4 inches from the table. My 24" monitors are 2 1/2" tall. The top edge of this monitor is about 2.5 inches higher than others and happens to be about 2.5 inches higher than what would be considered ergonomically correct. Your eyes should be approximately level with the top of the monitor. This one has a non-adjustable stand and if I could I would buy a stand 2.5 inches lower. I wanted to buy Asus because I was tempted by the "quick replacement" but found too many complaints indicating the monitor was broken - you won't get a quick replacement. I trust the 3 year warranty from ViewSonic.
