I spent a couple of weeks looking at different monitors before finally settling on this one. I have attached images of my previous setup of a 24" LG LED and 2 LG 22" LEDs versus 2 27" ViewSonic VX2757 MHD monitors. This review is going to be long so I'll include TL; DR below. I'm an avid gamer and also do instructional design which takes quite a bit of time to work from home. My games include Fallout 4, Witcher 3, every civilization I can find, Dragon Age, the Mass Effect trilogy, and a few other graphics-heavy games. The design requires a lot of work with photos and images and also needs to be accurate in layouts and contrasts. I use quite a bit of my setup and had to upgrade my monitors accordingly. Compared to my previous setup, I couldn't be happier with my choice of these monitors, although they only lasted 10 hours at the time of writing this article. I connected my main monitor via Displayport to take advantage of AMD FreeSync and I've seen a huge improvement in my games. Below I will post the characteristics of my rig: The Witcher plays with Ultra graphics absolutely without lag, even when surrounded by enemies in a big battle. I used to suffer from screen tearing, but that's a thing of the past now. Fallout 4's launch is like a new game, especially at night when the black stabilization kicks in and allows me to see in shadows much better than before. For anyone looking for their first FreeSync monitor, I HIGHLY recommend it. Even for non-gamers, this monitor is a big step forward in terms of design and overall entertainment. I'm watching Ender's game as I write this and can't believe the picture I'm seeing is better than the 1080p 60" Vizio I have in my living room. In tightest sequences and combined with AMD Radeon Cinema Settings doesn't compare to watching a movie. I've also connected both monitors to my work laptop (don't ask for the specs, too bad) with excellent results. The company I write for uses 80 inch displays in our classrooms, and with these two monitors can I really understand what our students will see when my training is presented to them.I've spent time using PowerPoint (come on, you know it's company blood) and Articulate Storyline on these monitors and I have a hard time realizing that I have to return to the office on Monday with much worse equipment.Setting up these monitors was extremely easy. The packaging is well thought out and there was no hassle, the Removing monitors from their packaging, which we've all experienced in the past. It's a 27-inch monitor, so they shake a little when you hit the table, but that's to be expected. If you don't want to rock, spend a little more and get a solid mount. These are connected by cable, one with Displayport, the other with HDMI, both monitors were recognized straight away and the picture was blurry, the main brightness and contrast are set very high, when it comes out of the box, press a few buttons and you will take care of it quickly. As several other comments have said, the buttons are on the back of the display in the bottom right corner. They're a bit awkward to use, but you'll get through it. Within 20 minutes I had both buttons. the monitor settings and my graphics card settings are made and the images are perfect on both. a few weeks after spending more time. My setup is Win 10 AMD FX-8350 (Vish era) 16GB HyperX DDR3 @ 669MHz Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3MSI AMD Radeon R9 390
