This alternator was supplied without instructions. Important things to note when installing: - Use the factory plug for the top of the generator as it will fit without modification. - For the bottom connector, 2 large wires and 1 small wire, cut off the factory connector from the truck - strip 3/4" wires from the truck and connect to 3 connectors from the alternator. After connecting the wires, crimp them with a Crimp tool Place shrink wrap over the wires and heat them with a hair dryer You can remove the wire harness from the truck and install the wires from the generator on the bench to make it much easier
