I installed them on my 2000 Wrangler. Pretty easy to install but a bit tricky on tailgates. They never worked very well. The engines were difficult to operate the locks. The back door worked only occasionally. One day they will accidentally block. Thinking it was the remotes I put them away but they kept jamming randomly. I just ticked them off. I like the robustness of the remote control. Wires were a bit short, not for work but for durability. My guess is that the wire was compromised (shorted) either in a bend on the door or somewhere it was under pressure. In the end I decided it wasn't very suitable for an old car used in difficult conditions, so I just left it.
