amazing value anti theft

added power locks to my 1973 Ford F100 pickup. The product instructions suck (just a schematic on the back of the box) but I found some how-to videos on YouTube that really helped. In hindsight, it was pretty damn easy to install. I'm glad I now have electric locks. Would DEFINITELY buy this product again.

Pros
  • constant test results
Cons
  • legacy model

Good affordable product

Seems to be a pretty good kit. Installed, works fine. The boards are good. More detailed instructions are required, but it's pretty clear what to do. I suggest doing some wiring before installing to see how to mount and unlock the lock so your knobs don't get flipped. I'll try to remember to do a long term review

good product BUT: - Anti-theft

First of all the screws in the installation package are not long enough. One of the remote controls is not working. The main problem is that the remote control is on the back! I can't open the doors when you press the unlock button, the doors are locked etc. I have to operate the remote control in REVERSE!. I don't know if anyone else has this problem with their system or not? Maybe the manufacturer has a solution to the problem?

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Socket required

1991 Nissan Hardbody Pickup

Quality complete set. The installation in my Nissan Hardbody took a long time but it was worth it. The driver's door wires had to be lengthened by about a foot. There were many wires to accomplish this task. For quality work you need a soldering iron and heat shrink tubing. Finding a place to connect the marker light took a lot of time. Really great value for money and I'm glad I spent time on this project.

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Easy to install on interior

This keyless lock kit was received a day early to get started. I was able to install this in about 3 hours using 4 tools. I put it in a basic 1995 geo tracker with only manual locks. Installation was easy, the instructions are easy to read, and all the necessary cables were neatly packed in the box. I only installed 3 locks (2 doors and tailgate) so I think a standard size 4 door car might need more wiring. But so far it's a great product. Happy to use.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Long delivery time

NOT for use with cable locks

I have a problem with my Nissan NV200 door locks. key problem. They wear out incredibly quickly and won't open/lock the car. I decided to try automatic door locks and I liked this set because it had 4 actuators. After removing the door panels I noticed that instead of rods I have wires connecting the handle to the lock. It was not possible to link it to this kit. Be aware and research what type of movement you have BEFORE ordering. The rest of the kit worked as described.

Pros
  • OK!
Cons
  • Hard to say

Too weak and failed after about 4 months.

I installed them on my 2000 Wrangler. Pretty easy to install but a bit tricky on tailgates. They never worked very well. The engines were difficult to operate the locks. The back door worked only occasionally. One day they will accidentally block. Thinking it was the remotes I put them away but they kept jamming randomly. I just ticked them off. I like the robustness of the remote control. Wires were a bit short, not for work but for durability. My guess is that the wire was compromised…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Works, but be prepared for some work.

The system works, watch a few videos before you buy so you know what you're getting into. It took about 20 minutes to figure out the wiring, but for the price it's not bad. The installation wasn't terrible, my car was tricky due to the alignment of the mechanism, but the second one only took 20 minutes to install with the door panel removed. My biggest problem was that the buttons worked back to lock the driver's door, if I pressed unlock the truck would lock and vice versa. I've been trying to

Pros
