I bought this product because I thought I could get rid of all the cords and use it as the main source to charge my phone when I need it. I don't usually leave my phone charging at night, so I build a tent to charge it before bed. With that in mind, I charged it via the wifi slot, but after 15 minutes my phone and lamp got hot. I thought it was a phone case so I removed it and charged the phone again but it still got hot. I asked my wife to try a second lamp and the same result even melted the phone's body a bit. As a lamp - good value. As a wireless charging station for me NO. Even cheaper wireless tablets work better if that's what you want to use them for.
