I got them despite reading some negative reviews. I've been using mine for the first strap for a while. If your belt keeps snapping, then something else is wrong! I have pets that shed, if you don't clean the roller and other moving parts that interfere with the belt drive you will continue to burn the belts. Mine blew out because there was so much hair on the disc I had no idea until I cleaned it. Check your vacuum cleaner, keep it clean, belts are working properly if you do your best to maintain it.
