Didn't work - Datastore

When I connected the wallet to my computer for the first time to download the required "firmware" from the official Trezor website, the download process went smoothly at first. Ultimately, however, the process stalled at around 80% margin. Obviously the idea was for the wallet to restart on its own once the download is complete; and then at this point the "START” button on the Trezor website needs to be pressed again to complete the process of showing the passphrase on the real screen of the hardware wallet etc. In my case, I noticed that the wallet was restarted anyway, although the download process got stuck and was actually canceled. After pressing the "START" key a few more times, I kept getting an error message. Disconnecting the wallet from the computer and reconnecting it to start the firmware download process also didn't work because the same error message kept popping up. At this point I connected the wallet to another computer just to see if it would have worked, but it didn't. And in this case, instead of just getting the error message above, I got another message indicating that the wallet is actually not even recognized by the system platform. That's why I didn't give up completely at that moment and contacted technical support. Page for the Trezor website and thought that I could - for sure - email someone, submit a form, or raise a support ticket somehow. But no, there are no such options. No email links no phone numbers to call - NOTHING! Instead, Trezor expects the following from you: other customers, which is in the interest of determining whether someone else's specific problem mimics your own problem. So stupid! b) The OTHER option then was to join the current user forum AGAIN to see if someone from the open user community could offer some troubleshooting tips for a specific issue. Again, how unconvincing! So at that moment I was ready! I requested a refund from Revain the same day I received the product. Hardware cryptocurrency wallets are theoretically the most secure means of storing digital assets offline other than paper wallets, in cases where paper wallets are even available depending on the asset in question. That may be true, but obviously it is necessary to connect to your online wallet interface via the wallet provider's website portal (Trezor in this case) in order to access assets and transfer them, exchange them, spend them or whatever ever it was. So I think the big moral of the story is that a hardware wallet is ONLY as good as the main wallet service provider. If the service provider is unreliable and seemingly "distant", as is my experience here, then the wallet itself is obviously nothing more than a piece of junk. So in this case I found Trezor unreliable and distant in the way they run their business. Last, but not least, is the fact that when the wallet was purchased, there was no notice at all in the ad. Here at Revain, the product is still in the "BETA” development phase, at least in terms of the actual wallet interface itself, which is provided via the Trezor website. I didn't know the product was in BETA until I tried downloading the proposed firmware for the first time. However, if I had known beforehand that it was actually still in BETA, I would definitely have thought twice about buying it when I did. I probably wouldn't have made the purchase if I'd known it was still in BETA; but in any case, if the notification of the fact of the BETA came through the ad itself here on Revain, then at least I would be able to make an informed decision on the matter.
