The shampoo moisturizes, but the conditioner does not penetrate the hair. A good shampoo and conditioner are essential to any healthy hair care routine. I don't mind spending $ on quality. The conditioner settles on my hair leaving a heavy, weighed down feeling that doesn't do anything and I can feel it when I wash it out. It is also difficult to wash off completely. I have incredibly frizzy, super curly hair that needs a lot of moisture and I have problems with breakage. This product is overpriced to sound amazing but does not perform as advertised. I've bought it a few times and it doesn't compare to my Redken Extreme set. Redken Extreme can do more, feels better and smells better than this. As a result, the quality is not always the cheapest, but it's worth it. I personally do not recommend this product for people with damaged hair.
