I bought 30 of these bulbs for our church lights. Exchanged all circuits at once as we need to hire a lift. We wore gloves, never touched the glass and lost 3 rounds in 2 weeks. 4 months went by and we lost another 5. So 9 out of 30 rounds died within 4 months. We use Circles 3 hours a week, only on Sundays, and warm up the lamp before use. The previous circles in these lamps were 2 years old and we have never lost 1 lamp in those 2 years.
