Review on Mizuno Men's Black Ombre Athletic Rider Running Shoes by Devon Holmes

While they seem to go well with regular Waverider models, there is a hard plastic protrusion on the heel tab at the top back for some reason. One of my boots has a rib that sticks out more than the other and it blistered and cracked my skin after my second run. I'm not sure if this is a manufacturing defect or a design flaw. But I've had Waveriders since the 15 model and none of them had a rigid heel ridge support. That is beyond me and very disappointing, because otherwise the shoe seems to be great. I ordered a replacement so I'm hoping the problem was an accident.
