Great for trolling - sport
Just what I need to achieve my trolling motor on my 2 person bass boat. The insert had to be removed, but this did not affect the function. I only have one time that he collapsed on me when I was pulling the engine. It is definitely intended to be used more smoothly without the risk of sudden movements or breaking the handle. You could probably clip the stick or even glue the stick if you wanted to lock it in place.
