If you are not alone, you will spend hundreds of filters every year. Each one lasts maybe 2 weeks then the water tastes bitter until you replace all 4 replacement filters in 5-6 weeks like we did. It's the same concept of selling a machine cheap as it is with printers, where money is made from toner (or replacement filters in this case). While the new filtered water tastes great, it just isn't a good long-term solution (no pun intended) for households. Save up for either a reverse osmosis system or a CuZn system instead.
