We still have 2 old Vizio TVs in the house. The 37 inch TV remote broke about 18 months ago and I bought one of these. I couldn't be happier (unless they released a backlit version, of course). Then recently the remote control of the 32-inch Vizio broke. . I knew this model would work because I was trying to control the TV with the remote. I bought a new remote control and although it's from a different seller I'm just as happy. They may be from different manufacturers, but they look the same. They have a good weight in hand but are not too heavy. I hate dim remote controls. The first remote dropped a couple of times and it's fine (but it was on a carpet. I'm not sure you could say the same if you dropped it on a hard surface). They're so cheap I wouldn't worry about them. I bought silicone cases for two of our NVidia players, but the handheld remotes are $75 each, so it's worth spending a few bucks on a case. Don't worry about cases where they cost almost as much as the remote unless you want to change the color or distinguish them from other remotes.
