This scoop was very useful for picking up small pieces of urine-soaked litter. Because the holes are small, it can take time to sift a large amount of dirt through them. For this reason I do a pre-inspection with another shovel that has much larger holes and then if necessary return with this shovel for post-cleaning and picking up small bits of debris that I think need sifting. The pointed tip didn't help much. The filler collected near the top falls off the edge easily and doesn't fit in our tray as it has rounded corners. I'm considering cutting off the end.
