Review on Tachikara TB 18 The Setter EA by Mike Barnes

Got this ball for my 15 year old son as a Christmas present and he loves it. He is the starting player on his high school JV team and needed a ball to train with that would build his strength and endurance. Both he and I could immediately tell a significant difference in weight between this ball and a standard weighted ball (10 ounces). Slightly heavier for younger teens (13-16 years). My son said his hands hurt after not using the ball for more than 10 minutes. If you are over 18 you can look for a heavier ball (I was able to find a 30oz ball on another site). . But if this is for your youngest son or daughter, or if you've never used a setter ball before, I'd have no hesitation in recommending it as a starter.
