Works great with pastries.
I bought the mat because the board I used for baking was old and difficult to clean. The OXO Good Grips Silicone Baking Mat used very little flour to prevent dough from sticking. The size was perfect as I roll out long and narrow dough. It's very easy to clean and takes up a lot less storage space than my old board. The mat stays in place while you work.
