Review on πŸ“± Renewed Samsung Galaxy S8+ for AT&T - Arctic Silver, 64GB by Ada Wodarczyk ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

For a year and a half I was very pleased with the phone. I bought it at the same time with some colleagues, and the flight is normal, and now I decided to change the smart one via Trade-In to Galaxy Note 9, I wanted to return to the Note series, which smartphones I had for more than one year. The S8+ has a great camera, I always got great pictures and videos on this smartphone, it always helped me out in this. And in general he was pleased with him in everything, despite the fact that he also met shortcomings. After 1.5 years, the oleophobic coating of the screen has not been erased, although it was erased on all the previous ones in about a year. The amount of memory is sufficient by modern standards, both operational and permanent, and I am glad that the memory can be expanded, I used a 128 GB card, it was enough for me. An excellent conversational speaker and signal reception, like a phone, worked flawlessly, a fast modem in 4G + networks saw speeds of more than 100 megabits per second. The phone requires careful handling, since it has a glass case, it didn’t even scratch much for me and was like new. The only thing I do not recommend is to buy original covers, they spoil the smartphone. In applications, photos from a smartphone. Regarding usage statistics: Average battery life 16-18 hours in mixed mode, Average battery life with active use 6-9 hours, Average charging time from 1.5 hours to 2.2 hours depending on the source. The average photo size is 4-6 megabytes, One minute of Full HD video 140-190 megabytes, Minute 4K video 340-360 MB, At the time of writing the review, there were no problems in the firmware, it seemed that the device was finished and it worked very well for the last six months before being exchanged for Galaxy Note 9

Pros
  • -Build quality -Camera -Screen -Sound in headphones -Performance - Memory capacity, expandable memory -Battery fast charging -Excellent equipment -Good complete headset -Manufacturer support.
Cons
  • Screen burn-in during everyday use, for acquaintances after 1.5 years, the screen began to burn out, who especially actively used white or light design, worked a lot with the Internet or text, faced screen burn-in, rather uneven, burn out exactly those areas that were displayed more often just white areas. The absence of stereo speakers, the sound is flat, there is very little bass, although the speaker itself is loud, of course in the following models the sound is much better, everything is fine right there, but for example I had a Samsung Note 5 and I had a bassier and louder sound in it . Periodically, it is necessary to do a complete reset of the device, since I have met a wide variety of firmware glitches for 1 year and 6 months. Stability jumped from firmware to firmware and I cannot rule out that this may occur in subsequent firmware. But to be honest, the glitches are not significant, and many of them are treated with a complete reset of the device. Although, of course, you expect absolutely smooth work from the flagship. But this is more of a nitpick since there are only 3 cases in my memory. With intensive use, it is quickly discharged. The battery does not tolerate low temperatures.

Its pros: Big and juicy screen, smart processor, decent camera and reliable antenna reception. With its cons. Out of habit, I'm looking for a physical "home" button, but I'm already getting used to it.

Has some pros Everything is fine. But the camera on Galaxy s6 edge is much better! Cons below: S8 plus is too big. Especially in the summer it is uncomfortable, it sticks out of the shorts, falls out of the shirt. Next time I'll take the regular one. And the phone is great.
