Easy to install but buy some screws.

The brackets fit easily into the top of the wooden window frame but I felt they needed better fixing so I used a screw (not included) that went through a hole in the metal seemed to be there for that purpose. The brackets aren't as strong as the brackets in the rest of my house, but they hold the curtains well. Keep in mind that your curtains may need to be trimmed as the brackets need to hang at the top of the panel and not over how you might otherwise hang them. Mine did.
