I used to buy 5 of these - I give them away to family members - cheap and great. HOWEVER, this version has changed…. The thickness of the "metal probe" has almost doubled compared to the previous versions and is therefore significantly less sensitive to temperatures. Before - you stick it in a piece of meat, and after 2 seconds - the exact temperature. Currently? Lasts 6 or 7 seconds. This thing is like everything else now - I LOVE how fast the old version worked.
