Review on Dorman 38546 Tailgate Cable by Robert Gilbert
Original Toyota
Bought two cables. A nylon disc is missing. The hole at the end of the tailgate is too big for the screw. The tailgate end is not the same as the original and Dorman has an adapter. When tightened, the cable cannot move freely. Tried swapping both sides, same issue with fit and mount. Removed and bought the original, fits and works perfectly.
