Worked as built but did not work with HDMI ARC connector
I couldn't find any information on whether this device would work with an HDMI ARC connector, so I ordered it. Unfortunately, while it works when you plug it between the player/cable and the TV, it doesn't work when powered only through the HDMI ARC connector. I even got dummy HDMI dongles but they didn't activate the device either. This is a good device if you only have one source you want to intercept, but I don't see how you can do this with multiple players and set top boxes.
