Overall a nice hourglass that looks more expensive than it is from afar but doesn't tell the exact time. I bought an hourly timer to show my kids physically how much time is left in each hour of their routine, but it's a good ten minutes behind so our routine at the end of the day is a little different. Now I'll use it every once in a while for things that don't exactly take an hour. (I verified accuracy with my digital oven and kitchen timer.) Also, the hourglass arrived rather battered from a loose screw and looked like it had been carelessly and asymmetrically put together. I was able to mostly straighten it out with some adjustments to the various screws, but if you look closely you can see the white foam holding the glass in the metal, which is bent and coming out a bit where it shouldn't be . In general I like the way it looks out of the box but up close you can see it's not very premium and if it can't keep the time then what's the point other than looks?
