Trimming may not be enough.
These floor mats can be customized to fit your car but as you can see from the photos I was unable to fit them after many customizations. It's also very wide and designed for full-size trucks and SUVs. It was a bit wide for my medium sized truck. This can work on smaller vehicles if you cut and separate the halves, but that defeats the purpose of having them.
