Makes a Mess: Coffee Grinders

It is suitable for regular coffee grinding, but really lacks the ability to grind coffee very finely. I have better results with my antique Zassenhaus windmill and less mess. This machine makes a terrible mess when you take out the plastic container that holds the ground coffee. The grind setting doesn't actually match the grind you get, regardless of the setting. He spits out an inconsistent grind. As for the mash - it doesn't just pour out of a hole in a plastic container - which is on the side of the container (of anywhere that hole can be placed) and spills coffee everywhere when taken out of the machine and when to empty, especially if you're using the 10-cup setting. Then there's the area where the ground coffee from the machine spills into a plastic container that litters the entire bottom of the machine, and the only way to get packaged grounds is to use the brush that comes with the kit to tap everything over the base and counter. All in all it's a poor design and even at this price point it's not worth the money to combat clutter and inconsistent ground coffee no matter what setting you choose. Don't waste money.
