I stream a lot but my room has poor lighting so it was perfect for me. Even if you have good lighting I would still say this camera is good for you as brighter white light only improves the image quality. This is a great, easy-to-use all-in-one camera. The ring light saves me the hassle of adjusting lighting, and because it's around the camera, it illuminates what I'm photographing. You get a range of brightness to your liking, but the brighter I used the better the image quality. It's very easy to use so it requires installation, you just need plug and play and it's compatible with my Mac! It also has a handy ribbon control for the light. I also really like the base, it attaches directly to my computer with foam inside to avoid scratching my computer. It also adapts many ways to place laptops or desktops of any kind. There is also a threaded hole on the bottom that will fit any standard stand/tripod if you wish to use it that way. It's very versatile. The quality is top-notch, with and without the backlight. It features auto focus to keep the image crystal clear. clear while you move. And it was a very reasonable price; Other cameras with these features seem to cost over $100 to me.
