Review on πŸ“’ Empi 6V Horn, Individual Unit by Brett Morrison

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good beep at 6 volts. Something power hungry.

Requires a lot of adjustment to get the right audio level. Tools used: 12mm wrench 10mm wrench 7mm wrench #2 Phillips [STEP 1] Loosen the 7mm nut on the rear Phillips head screw. will sound when the device is turned on, and then slowly loosen the Phillips screw. If the beep sounds when the device turns on, slowly tighten the screw. The loudest setting is reached when the screw is tightened almost noiselessly. Loosen the 10mm hex nut on the front panel with a sound until the panel starts to wobble. Tighten slowly until the horn sounds like a road runner (meep-meep). Use plenty of threadlock to keep the 10mm nut in place. [STEP #3] The mounting bracket is actually two metal plates stacked on top of each other. Loosen the 12mm hex nut on the back of the horn, then position the holes of the two plates according to the size of your car. Tighten the 12mm hex nut and install the horn. After installation, you may need to repeat step 1.
