I would give this product 3 stars as it doesn't work well on long haired dogs. After we called the company to see if there was anything we could do, they politely mentioned that I should have bought the IQ Plus or another model with a different contact person. Customer service was great but it would have been nice to know in the product description that this is best for short haired dogs. Having groomed my dogs in one place he doesn't feel it until he's about 40 years old and it feels more like a tickle at that point. I'm not comfortable using a base training product at 40 as some corrections can be stronger than others depending on how much hair gets between the contact points.
