Review on KYB SM5468 Insulator by Jeff Addison

Revainrating 2 out of 5

They lend themselves much better to the mount and leave no room in the middle.

Bought two and tried to install them with KYB bracket. The problem is that the isolators are too thin around the edges and the center hole is too big for the mount, causing them to move with the mount. I was concerned that 1. there would be misalignment when installing the spring. 2. Because the edge is too thin, it may break later when the spring puts pressure on it. Luckily, the original OEMs are still fine. They fit much better on the bracket and don't leave any space in the middle with the bracket. I just used the old ones and returned these two insulators.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • Slightly torn
