OK, but slow. for my opinion

I was about to return it as the first two times it was used, it stopped rising at 99.3. Purchased it to help predict whelping. The 3rd time it was used I just waited longer after it again stopped at 99.3 and the temperature resumed climbing to what I expected to be more normal temperature of 101.2.
