My 20 year old Italian leather sofa has been through 2 kids and a couple of cats, it started fraying at the bottom and with animals and cat claws rubbing on it, this patch worked like am clockwork. I bought a 6 x 17 inch roll and made 3 bottom pieces of my sofa. The sofas are fine as are the 2 seats so I didn't use them. It fits perfectly and is soft. If it comes off I will buy it again as for now it seems to stay in place but we're not sitting on that part. I cut it seam to seam in sections rather than the full length. Easy to use and looks beautiful.
