Review on Enhanced Calphalon Easy Grip Apple Corer Slicer with Improved SEO by Stephanie Roberts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great purchase for years to come!

After breaking several apple slicers in a year, my husband and I decided on this one. We've had it for a few months now and it still looks and works as good as the first time. I bake at home and make a lot of apple pies so this is used a lot. Excellent purchase! Update: It's September 28th, 2016 and this apple slice is still in perfect condition! We use it several times a week. Update: Today is August 22nd, 2017 and the apple slicer still works! It is used almost every day. Updated March 27, 2018 and it is in perfect condition with daily use. Update: April 23, 2019 and the slicer still works great! We still use it almost every day. Update: Today is October 29th, 2019 and the food slicer is as sharp as ever and gets used multiple times a day (more kids!). We had a visitor who used it and soaked it in the sink for several hours. We are not. Wash and dry immediately after use. We sometimes run it in the dishwasher for a thorough cleaning. After soaking, I noticed the beginning of rusting in the nooks and crannies around the center. I will keep you up-to-date! I do not care. Update: It's July 1st, 2020 and a lot is going wrong this year, but not this apple slice. I told you I'm not worried. After a good cleaning, we don't think there was rust, but it looked more like an old apple that our guest didn't wash off. I cleaned it and it looks like new. Used today! Update: Today is May 4th, 2021 and we've been homeschooled for the past year, which means lots of chopped apples for snacks. I'm wondering if I should name an apple cutter since we've had one longer than at least one of our kids. It is still not rusty and strong.
