Great water bottle for my 2 year old. Easy to clean, keeps you cool all day. We have tried many baby bottles and somehow the silicone straws or the insides cannot be cleaned well and even brand new ones give the water a soapy taste despite repeated washing and rinsing. This bottle has only one flaw so far. - needs some practice to open the "straw", it's a bit difficult for small hands, so now I help her to open it, but she can close it by herself. As for the tightness - when it's closed, yes, absolutely tight. When the straw is in the "open" position, it drips as expected.
