Review on Cuisinart 7193 20 Classic Stainless Saucepan by Bella Rodriguez

I was very happy with this pot at first, but now I edit it when I have had the opportunity to use it several times. I've only had it a month or so and it's rusting! It has to be stainless steel, I've never had rust in a stainless steel pot! Half of the rim along the top has rust. Not just a barely visible, but really very long red stripe along! I also see a few holes in the ground, and I didn't take it too seriously. I've used it the same as other pots and ten years or more later there are no stains on it except maybe one of two and this one has a lot of them after only being used a couple of times. It was originally very pretty and the bottom seems thick enough to handle dairy based products without burning so I ordered it. The handle is a little uncomfortable, I wish it had a different shape to make it easier to handle, but the worst thing is that it gets hot. It surprised me too. I rarely write such negative reviews but honestly this is one of the worst pots I've ever had! I actually bought this brand because it's the same as a pot that I had to replace after breaking it (accidentally left dry on the burner). My previous pan from the same company was great so I had the same expectations for this one. I will try to return it but it might be too late. Maybe it's just a broken pot, but I'm afraid to try again with a new one, especially as I don't like the style of the handle, even though everything else has been fixed.
