For the brave souls who need to take control of their lives!

Easy to use and very accurate for its size and value. It even glows when exposed to light for a short time. applications? Consider a hunting pin on your coat or shirt in case you lose your backpack off a cliff (remember, two make one) or a perfect survival/bug bag. Effective as an addition to an EDC keychain for the length of a paracord. How about tying scabbards to knives? Or tie your shoelaces. What's better than most small compasses is the functional direction finding plate and the rotation of the outer ring makes it a real orientation compass. Yes it is small and if you have poor vision you may need glasses. If you look at my photo, you can see a red guide on the baseplate and tiny colored dots for North, South, East, West that I drew with a t-shirt marker. Allows you to quickly navigate north, south, east, and west. The red line helps indicate the intended direction of travel. So, the last question, is it reliable? This remains to be seen. Repeat examination after 6 months and one year. I will then update. Oh! last thing. Each compass can turn north and south. If this is the case then it is due to the strong magnetic field and you can easily fix it. Just use a rare earth magnet, point it north and swipe it straight south on the compass. If you did it right, it now shows correctly. know science. Wink!
