I ordered these bulbs from Amazon and they arrived in bubble wrap. flower box? Yes. I loaded one into a table lamp. The light is ridiculously bright for a table and yes, the fixture is rated for 150 watt incandescent bulbs. After an hour of work, maybe a little longer, I stand next to the lamp and hear a faint hum or hiss. somewhere in the room. I realize it's a lightbulb and lean forward. Too bright to see straight ahead. I turn off the light and watch the filament as it dims. It looks like a piece of filament about 3mm long is missing. I go to turn the light back on and the bulb is completely dead. I think what happened was the filament burned out in that small area, but the 120 volt spark made it's way through for passage Arc kept electrically functional. When I turned off the light, the track deionized or something and stopped running. So now I know why they put two in the package.
