I really can't say enough good things about this swimsuit and how I feel. I wanted something that would add some sex appeal but hide the areas I don't like. This suit has achieved just that! I feel good, feminine, young (enough) and self-confident. I have a short, curvy torso so I was a little skeptical as to how it would fit, especially after reading some of the other reviews and ratings. I usually wear big tankinis because I don't like it when it's too tight. I have petite pants size 10 (sometimes size 8) and medium petite top, bra 36C, I have hips and buttocks and my tummy is not flat. I would definitely say I have "mommy body" as I've had two cesareans and another surgery that caused cuts in the same area. The big one is perfect for me (if you want it snug don't go bigger). I have a lot of wiggle room and don't feel like it's being pulled onto me or digging into my skin. The torso isn't too long, the upper provides enough support for my "30-somewhat-deflated mommy boobs" and the straps along my thighs don't dig into my skin. As you can see in the picture I have a gap on the side where the straps attach to the body. So if you want a more fitted look I would go up to your normal size. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this suit.
