Review on Native Spring Vegetable Cleaning Zucchini by Rebecca Guerra

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy enough for kids, great taste

Tried the spiralizer for the first time last night. I made zucchini noodles, fried them in butter with a little salt. They were delicious. The zoodles came out a bit soft, but I think that's because my zucchini were a bit overripe and the kids helped me. Next time I'll try firm zucchini or sweet potatoes. The spiralizer was easy to use and my six year old was able to cook one of the zucchini. There was some veg left over at the end which I threw away, but not a ton. It didn't do much zucchini, but my zucchini wasn't huge. I look forward to trying bigger, firmer veggies. Best of all, a six-year-old who has never touched a pumpkin or potato declared it was really tasty and ate it all. I just took a bite and no one else at the table got it. We added a marinara for her. This is a great beginner vegetable cutter. I think if the kids are still having as much fun as they did last night then we'll invest in something bigger that takes less time. Would recommend to anyone trying to get kids to eat veggies or who wants to try veggie "noodles" without spending a lot of money.
