My family is trying to eat more grass-fed meat and less animal products. It is very expensive for a family of four. This product allows me to buy cheaper cuts like stews and cheap roasts while still serving very tender meat. I think this will pay off in a few months as I'm saving about $3 a pound on cheaper meat. Hard boiled eggs are amazing, they peel instantly and they always cook to perfection. I love that you can sear in this pot and then add cooking liquid. The security features work very well. A quick guide allows you to start preparing meals straight out of the box. We liked everything we did. We use this a few times a day. It warms up leftovers well without drying them out. I place them in an ovenproof glass dish, cover with foil, place on an egg rack, and pour water at the bottom of the pot. Then let it run for 10 minutes. My 20 year old son now prefers stir fry, chicken or lamb with potatoes over breaded chicken chops and frozen fries. We're eating healthier foods with fewer chemicals, but enjoying our food a lot more.
