Powerful socket! Fully charges an empty but otherwise healthy 7.5Ah battery in approximately 3 hours. Each bit 25W, 30 under ideal conditions. The panel is small, but delivers usable performance. An example is shown with a buck converter that steps up about 20 volts from the panel to 13.8 to power a small 12 volt inverter lighting a 120 volt, 15 watt incandescent light bulb. In the photo, the bulb looks orange, but it's actually bright white because the photo was taken in bright sunlight. The second picture shows two 12 volt automatic bulbs connected in parallel, which are also powered directly from the panel. The bulbs are bright white and very hot. Use a solar charge controller as it can overcharge the average car battery after about 3-4 days of direct sunlight.
