Sturdy, well made, beautiful color, breaks arms and legs. Brilliant!

Just what we were looking for! We gave it to our 7 year old daughter for Christmas. She really wanted a turquoise bike, and it really fitted the bill perfectly. We saw others and she sat down and tried many different styles of bike to make sure we got one that she could ride with confidence and comfort. She still comfortably rides her bike without training wheels (we live in a rural area where there is a lot of dirt and the only place she can ride is on the road, which makes it difficult for me to keep a constant eye on her). Anyway, I think she'll still need leg brakes until she transitions to a hand-only bike. This was the only bike I could find that had everything we needed, the right color, and it had arm and leg brakes. We found that BMX-style bikes were uncomfortable for them because they had to lean forward to reach the handlebars. This gives you a more upright riding position and has a softer seat than the BMX-style bikes we've tried. Obviously she hasn't been able to ride it much but has ridden it around the house a bit because it's winter and there's a lot of snow outside but it looks like a very well made and sturdy bike which I expect that it lasts for many years. . She loves it and I love it. My husband assembled it in 20 minutes or less. Definitely recommend. The price was a bit more than I was willing to pay for a bike, but the quality and availability of everything we were looking for made it well worth it. Delivery was quick, no complaints.
