I didn't know what to expect from them. They come in packs of 10 and are rigid as boards. Hard indeed, like dry sponges. They become like a cloth when you wet them and you can use them to wash dishes or wipe countertops. And when they dry, they become hard again. You can also wash them in the washing machine or dishwasher. So they are like reusable paper towels. We have 10 cats so I won't be using them for what I usually use paper towels for. Pooh. But as far as cleaning up things that aren't cat poop, they're pretty good. I haven't used any of them enough to know if they really last as long as 15 rolls of paper towels, but I've put a few of them in the washing machine and they still work.
