Review on 🧵 DMC Top This Knitting & Crochet Yarn Kit with adorable Mouse Plush Toy by Kim Sanchez

Bought this to make a quick UGA hat for my little one for the upcoming football season. I really liked how the yarn flowed into the pattern and the different textures. I used the DMC website for alternative sizes and followed the children's template as my son has a larger head. However, I would like to add more rows of ribs or something like that (note the leftover yarns). Although I chose a larger size for him, the length only comes halfway up his ears. I just wish it was a little longer. My only other complaints: 1) The soccer ball had a huge white tag that I had to cut off. And it's still felt a little bit since football has failed. And 2) the piece of styrofoam that fits inside the hat was attached to the pattern instructions with sticky glue. This made it difficult to remove because of the foam. foams well. I was afraid it would break. Either way, it's a fun hat and fun for kids. I'll probably do more in the future but adjust accordingly and try adult sizing.
